1. Save money on electricity costs.
2. Save the environment. Less energy is wasted in the form of heat and therefore energy is used more efficiently.
3. Freedom to choose colors. There are more options for color rendering available with LEDs. There are some programmable LED bulbs where you can switch between millions of colors.
4. Less heat is generated. A significant amount of heat is generated by high powered light bulbs. This is an issue in the summer time as you are increasing the amount of heat in your house.
5. It’s cool technology. No pun intended. Nothing against Thomas Edison but it’s about time we start using new technology for lighting.
